Description/Product Feature List:

The uPAC-NIS2-SCC1-PKG from PAC Audio is a plug-and-play package that provides Sirius Radio and either a dedicated iPod/iPhone or auxillary input be added to your factory radio. We describe each one and the way it integrates with your factory radio below.

  • Sirius Radio™ (SCC1 Sirius Radio™ Tuner included in this particular package)
  • Apple iPod/iPhone© (cable included)
  • Auxiliary Audio Input (cable included)
  • Can only do Sirius Radio™ with either iPod/iPhone cable or Aux cable (all three cannot be connected)
  • Sirius Satellite Radio: Integrate Sirius Radio directly into your factory audio system. Control it from the factory radio buttons & steering wheel controls. Display the text from Sirius on your radio display. Performs exactly like a factory satellilte radio system would on your factory radio.
  • Apple iPod/iPhone©: Allows for 2 different modes to control your Apple iPod/iPhone© from your factory radio. Each mode is selected from your radio controls. No need to set one or the other at time of installation. Your Apple iPod/iPhone© charges while connected in any mode you choose. It will also pause and stop charging when you turn off your vehicle. For more info about compatible Apple iPod/iPhone© models see the Compatibility Notes tab.
  • ADVANCED IPOD MODE: Advanced Controls thru the factory stereo, Displays Text on radio. Allows you to browse your iPod by Playlist, Artist, Album, Genre, Composer, Track from your radio buttons. Your Apple iPod/iPhone© music control is only thru the radio.
  • SIMPLE IPOD MODE: Simple Controls thru the factory stereo. Allows you to switch tracks up/down from your radio buttons/steering wheel controls. You can also use the controls on your Apple iPod/iPhone© music section like normal.
  • Auxiliary Audio Input: Allows for one direct audio input to your radio. In this mode you can listen to any audio source that is connected via the 3.5mm (1/8") or RCA audio input on this interface. The input is turned on from your radio buttons, so you can choose to listen to it at anytime. You can have two sources plugged into this (rca and 3.5mm) but only one can be playing at a time. This input is a digital audio input. It is perfectly suited for a aftermarket external satellite radio, non-ipod mp3 player or for dvd audio instead of a FM transmitter.

Nissan/Infiniti Compatibility notes:
  • Radio must have a "SAT" button or have "CH", "CHANNEL", "CAT" or "CATEGORY" printed somewhere on the face of the radio to be compatible. This is usually located near the Tune or Seek buttons.
  • Not Compatible with 2007 G35 Coupe (2-door) (see uPAC-NIS1 instead).
  • Not Compatible with 2007-2008 Maxima equipped with Navigation (see uPAC-NIS1 instead).
  • Fully Compatible with factory installed Nissan/Infiniti Satellite Radio.

Notice about iPhone Use:

Your iPhone will display a message like this "This accessory is not made to work with iPhone Charging is not supported with this accessory. Would you like to turn on Airplane Mode to reduce audio interference? You will not be able to make or receive calls." when you plug it in. Once you see this message, just press "NO" and your phone will work fine.
